The GTO (Gran Turismo Omolagato) name will once again be seen splashed in Ferrari’s lineup – on a limited-edition, two-seat version of the F599 Fiorano GTB. The new car is equipped with bodywork and mechanical components from Ferrari’s race-bound 599XX.
The 599 GTO will debut at the Paris Motor Show in September. The last time that the GTO badge was applied to Ferrari’s road car was on the 288 GTO in 1984. The new car has the following modifications – a set of carbon-fiber exterior panels and a stripped-out interior and specially developed alloy wheels. Continued after the jump!
